Canadian resident corporations generally have to file a T2 return for every tax year, even when no tax is payable, subject to CRA exceptions. Wealthy Wave Accounting prepares and files corporate tax returns using the records, financial information, and explanations you provide. We help organize year-end information, prepare GIFI data and applicable schedules, and identify outstanding items before filing. Your filing deadline and balance-due date are separate and depend on your corporation's tax year and circumstances.
Know Your Corporation's Dates
The CRA generally requires a T2 return within six months after the corporation's tax year-end. The balance-due date may be earlier and depends on the corporation's circumstances. Confirm the applicable dates for your corporation using the CRA's current guidance or professional advice.

Corporate Tax Return Preparation and Filing
Depending on the agreed scope and the information available, support can include:
- T2 corporate tax return preparation and filing
- GIFI financial-statement information and applicable schedules
- Year-end financial statement preparation
- Shareholder-loan review and planning
- T4, T5, T4A, and payroll-slip coordination
- HST/GST review and reconciliation
- CRA business-number and account correspondence
- Prior-year and late corporate tax return preparation
- Small-business-deduction eligibility review
- Ontario corporate minimum tax review
Eligibility, filing positions, balances, deadlines, and CRA assessments depend on the corporation's facts, records, applicable law, and CRA administration.
Plan Your Corporate Tax Filing
Tell us your corporation's tax year-end, the last year filed, and whether the bookkeeping is current. We will discuss the records needed, the proposed scope, and the next practical step. Do not send tax returns, account numbers, or other sensitive records in your initial email or message.
